The CFJ West Coaches Corner has been designed to provide practical resources as well as inspiration and advice for all coaches. We realize that time can be a strain when planning, therefore, we have put together some training advice and activities which can be used throughout the season.

IYSA Coach Education

Illinois Youth Soccer Association (IYSA) host a number of coach education events each year. They are responsible for regional coach licensing. For more information on coach education, upcoming courses, please visit the link above.

USSF Coach Education

US Soccer is the national governing body and the internationally recognized awarding body for coaching qualifications. They are responsible for national coach licensing. To learn more about upcoming courses, click the link above.

IYSA Background Check

Player Development

At CFJ West, we are always looking to cultivate a platform which allows our players to learn and develop to the best of their ability. Our coaching curriculum is an integral part of our daily and yearly operations. The topics within this should form the basis of each and every practice throughout the season.
